Twinning's International Student Science Program

“Our International education student science research collaboration through our Twinning’s program had a fantastic web conference on May 30th between Instituto Techno Industiale (ITI) in Pisa, Italy and Longwood High School students.  It was an impressive display of both classes’ presentation on their research, data collected and experiences had on A Day in the Life of the Carmans/Arno  River.  All the data they collected was taken on the exact same day on both rivers in September 2012, and the comparisons were very interesting.  Not only were the student presentations extremely impressive, and scientifically sound, the questions the student’s had for each other showed interest and awareness of the subject matter and the techniques they are involved in.  The Longwood Italian class was there as well, and they had an opportunity to speak (in Italian) to the ITI students.  The student had fun and learned more about the Carmans river based on the Arno river comparisons.  All around fantastic experience. “
