  From the West:   Take the Southern State Parkway eastbound in the direction of Heckscher Park, but turn off the Parkway at the eastbound exit for Sunrise Highway (NY State Route 27). Proceed eastbound on Sunrise Highway to the Oakdale-Bohemia Road intersection. At that intersection, cross over the Sunrise Highway and proceed westbound along either Sunrise Highway or its North Service Road. You must be traveling westbound to reach the office! As you pass the entrance to Connetquot River State Park Preserve, slow down! The building is exactly one half mile west of the park entrance, on the right hand (northerly) side. If you reach Connetquot Avenue, you will need to turn around at the Connetquot Avenue overpass, and repeat the above directions.   From the East: Take Sunrise Highway (NY State Route 27) westbound past the Oakdale-Bohemia Road intersection. Proceed westbound along Sunrise Highway, staying in the right hand lane. You must be traveling westbound to reach the office! As you pass the entrance to Connetquot River State Park Preserve, slow down! (The main highway and the service road have merged at this point.) The office building is exactly one half mile west of the park entrance, on the right hand (northerly) side. If you reach Connetquot Avenue, you will need to turn around and repeat the above directions.   Please park in the front of the building. The Commission office is located on the second floor, and the reception area is at the top of the stairs.
