Completed prework: Login or create a new profile on the Wildland Fire Learning Portal and search for S-236 (instructor led) then choose the course materials to find prework.
-Incident Response Pocket Guide (NFES 1077) - will be available for purchase.
****There will be a field portion of the course, please come dressed for in climate weather.

● Wildland Fire Classes will be held at Suffolk County Fire Academy.
● Breakfast and Lunch is to be provided by YOU.
● All classes will start at Briefing held each morning at 0815. All students and staff must attend. Come meet the staff & find out what the plan is for the day!
● You must check-in prior to attending class. Wildland Fire Classes Check- in/Demob will be at the Suffolk County Fire Academy.
● Students are responsible for handling their own hotel reservations & cancellations.
●Cancellations must be received by February 14, 2025 for a full refund. After this date, a fee of $30 per class day will be billed. No refunds for no-shows. Substitutions are welcome.
To receive a class certificate of completion, you must arrive by the scheduled start time and depart after completing the course. Please make sure your travel arrangements do not conflict with your attendance at class.
