Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) Requests
The Freedom of Information Law (Public Officers Law, Article 6) (FOIL) grants members of the public access to the records of government in accordance with its provisions. For more information about FOIL and the Personal Privacy Protection Law (Public Officers Law, Article 6-A), please visit the New York State Committee on Open Government’s website.
To submit a FOIL request for records retained by the Central Pine Barrens Joint Planning and Policy Commission, please complete this FOIL Request Form and return it by email to foil@pb.state.ny.us. If you do not have email access, please mail the completed form to the Commission at the address below or send by fax to 631-288-1367.

Availability of Records - Upon appointment, public records maintained by the Commission are available for inspection or copying on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Commission's Office located at 624 Old Riverhead Road, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978.
Right to Appeal - To the extent you believe you have been denied access to a record by the Commission, you have thirty (30) days from the date of the determination to make a written appeal which should be made in writing to:.
