If you have registered for the S-290 Course you must complete the online portion of the S-290 course through the Wildland Fire Learning Portal. If you do not already have an account, please go create one so I am able to locate you in the system. If your email on the Wildland Fire Learning Portal DOES NOT match that of the one used to register for this course through the NYWIMA registration system please let us know what email we will be able to locate you through.
There is an estimated 27 hours of online prework for this course. Please get your account squared away so you can start your prework as soon as possible. If you do not wish to proceed with this course please reach out so you can be unenrolled with out any cancellation fee penalties.

- Visit the Wildland Fire Learning Portal Click Here to GO to The Wildland Fire Learning Portal
- Create a new user account. Accounts are approved quicker if they are a government email.
- Once you have created an account email me (scarpenter@cwfima.org) with the email used and the name on file so I can get you added to the course.
- Once you have been added to the course you will visit the Home page and will see the course listed under the enrolled learner section.
You may start your prework once you see this! Please do not wait to get the work done. There are 27 hours of pre-online learning before your arrival in class.
